Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Etive House Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with their nutritional needs, including meal preparation and serving.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in social interactions.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a senior care assistant role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.
- A welcome bonus of £500.
- The opportunity to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.
- A range of contracts available, from 22 to 44 hours per week.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum.
- Overtime at time and a third.
- A meal provided during shifts.
- Pension, onsite parking, PVG, and uniform.
