About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Sarto Thomas Ltd. As a key member of our bridge design team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and survey existing highway structures to identify potential design opportunities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Design and assess bridges and other highway structures, utilizing your expertise in civil engineering and structural analysis.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and safety documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects, leveraging your knowledge of highway standards and Eurocodes.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in bridge design and proficiency with software like LUSAS and Superstress.
  • Strong knowledge of highway standards and Eurocodes, with the ability to apply this expertise in a fast-paced project environment.
