Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team working with children and families in various settings across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with communication difficulties and disorders.
About the PositionThis opportunity allows you to contribute to the development of effective communication strategies for children and their families, while also participating in best practice initiatives and collaborating with other professionals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose children's communication needs, developing personalized intervention plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement and adapt intervention strategies.
- Participate in regular case conferences and meetings to ensure cohesive support for children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with evidence-based practices and methodologies.
This Band 5 position comes with an estimated annual salary of £28,672 - £33,953, based on experience, along with access to a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development within our organization.
