Job Title: Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Administration and Optimisation

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our adult physical health district nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management of medicines management within our community and district nursing service.
  • Line manage and supervise specialist pharmacy technicians.
  • Undertake medication administration and screen new patient referrals to identify potential pharmaceutical issues.
  • Work with our multi-disciplinary teams to resolve queries and ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Completed technician accuracy checking (either hospital in-house or accredited qualification).
  • Leadership, management, and quality improvement experience and/or qualification.
  • Responsive, proactive approach to ongoing professional development.
