  • Manage and grow relationships with partners, including Research grant co-funders, and identify new collaboration opportunities.
  • Act as lead contact for external organizations.
  • Line manage the Research Grants & Trust Officers, providing support and identifying opportunities for their professional development.
Requirements
  • Experience working within a similar role in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Experience working with a large number of stakeholders, managing conflicting needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex research messages to a varied audience.
  • Experience understanding and communicating research and scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to independently manage a varied and complex workload.
  • Confidence in creating and introducing standards for best practice in research management.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
