About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncology Lead to join our well-established Oncology Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our existing team of chemotherapy trained nurses, Consultant Pharmacist, and specialist Oncology pharmacist to deliver excellent patient care. You will also have the chance to contribute to the development of our aseptic preparation facility and day unit facilities, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Oncology services
Working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Participating in the development and implementation of our services and policies
Contributing to the training and education of our team members

  • MBChB or equivalent
  • MRCP, FRCP or equivalent
  • GMC Registration
  • CCT

Desirable

  • Higher degree (PhD MD) or MPhil

Experience
Essential

  • Experience of undertaking audits and presenting their findings

Desirable

  • Post-MD / PhD research experience
  • Experience within a research team
