We are seeking a skilled Cancer Specialist to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a dynamic and innovative environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate fully in the provision of Oncology services, working closely with our well-established team of chemotherapy trained nurses, Consultant Pharmacist, and specialist Oncology pharmacist support.

Our state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand new aseptic preparation facility and refurbished day unit, will provide you with the ideal environment to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

In addition to your clinical expertise, we are looking for someone who can contribute to shaping our organisation's strategic direction, bringing a depth of understanding of the different and changing healthcare environment.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of our Oncology services, ensuring we put the patient at the centre of everything we do.

  • We have a well-established team of chemotherapy trained nurses that has recently been increased to support with increasing demand.
  • Consultant Pharmacist and specialist Oncology pharmacist support – with prescribing for chemotherapy and also clinics.
  • A brand new aseptic preparation facility to future-proof the local pharmacy service alongside a refurbishment for our day unit facilities.
  • Both CNS and Pharmacy-led clinics which are set to increase in the future.
  • A dedicated mobile unit to deliver treatment within the community, with a second unit due to launch.
