As a Commercial Analyst at MJ Quinn, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the financial and commercial aspects of our operations. Your primary objective will be to analyze data, identify areas of risk, and propose solutions to optimize our performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators, including billing, cost, profit, and cash collection.
- Process and validate records using various IT systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor to drive financial and commercial success.
- Design and implement data analysis to inform business decisions and drive performance.
- Monitor and maintain targets and objectives, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Support the processing of customer billing to minimize work in progress levels.
- Experience working in a financial or commercial team, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends and insights.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
