Job Overview

As a Programme Controller at QinetiQ Limited, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Integrated Delivery Teams.

What You Will Do:

  1. You will be responsible for leading the performance of the Integrated Delivery Teams control functions which you are assigned.
  2. Develop and maintain positive engagement with delivery team leaders, project and programme managers, and other key delivery partners.
  3. Ensure project controls team members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency requirements.
  4. Deliver project controls outputs to agreed standards in support of customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash, and sales.
  5. Operate openly and visibly to achieve positive outcomes.
  6. Maintain all appropriate reporting needs in support of project and programme delivery.
  7. Apply governance requirements in support of the delivery business (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews).

What We Are Looking For:

  • Significant experience as a functional manager, with the ability to set and lead a project controls function.
  • Strong experience delivering large sized contracts (LCM4); where projects contain a great number of stakeholders and a high level of risk.
  • Experience of working in a matrix management organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across a business unit and the wider corporate business.
