We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join our team as an RF Systems Specialist. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and testing advanced radio-frequency technology for integration into complex weapons systems.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work independently, leveraging practical experience to make modifications and create rapid prototypes as needed.

The ideal candidate will be part of a proactive team who uses their initiative and is passionate about electronic engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and testing RF circuits across a wide frequency range (e.g., 30MHz to 30GHz)
  • Working in harsh environments (EMC, vibration, thermal)
  • Performing design proving tests and trials in the onsite laboratory
  • Using RF test equipment including Spectrum Analysers, Power Meters & VNAs
  • Fully conversant with manufacturing techniques and capabilities, including design for manufacture and test

Requirements:

  • Proven practical RF (component level) design and testing of RF circuits across a wide frequency range
  • Experience working in harsh environments (EMC, vibration, thermal)
  • Excellent practical skills including soldering, fault finding and the use of RF test equipment
