Caring Environment Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Cinnamon Care. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our care homes.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the care home are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This will involve performing a range of tasks including laundry duties, cleaning public areas, and maintaining the overall appearance of the home.
About the Role:
- Ensure that all areas of the care home are clean and safe at all times.
- Perform laundry functions to create a secure and inviting environment.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the care home, including public areas and residents' rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the care home.
- Operating industrial washing machines and dryers.
- Ironing and folding linen.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of storage areas.
Requirements:
- You must be physically and medically able to carry out the demands of the role.
- You should be compassionate and caring with a strong sense of empathy.
- You will be a team player with a self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and adaptable nature.
- You should be able to organise and prioritise your workload effectively.
- You should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You should have experience working in a similar role within a residential care setting.
