Wigan Heating Engineer with Competitive Salary

Liberty is an innovative heating and compliance firm seeking a skilled Gas Breakdown Engineer to join our team in Wigan. This full-time, permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £31,512 plus on-target earnings of over £45K, company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic heating systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Completing works as specified and adhering to gas safe guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
- Participating in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs as required.
- Working within operational procedures, safe working practices, and health and safety protocols.
- Reporting incidents, near misses, or potential hazards promptly.
- A recognized formal training qualification, such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, attesting to relevant craft skills.
- ACS qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT are highly valued.
- LPG and UNVENTED certifications are desirable.
- Familiarity with gas legislation and understanding of Health and Safety best practices.
- Full driving license and ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
- Experience interacting with the public, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
