Bookkeeper Job Description

LA Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and qualified Bookkeeper to join its existing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bookkeeping services for a range of clients
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Liaise with client managers
  • Accurate entry of data
  • Requesting records
  • Resolving queries
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Reconciliation of the sales and purchase ledger
  • Client liaison

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified/part qualified or QBE
  • Experience of liaising with HMRC
  • Knowledge of accounting software including Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
