Job Title: Head of Billing and Debt

Amber is a pioneering company in the utility industry, dedicated to revolutionizing the way businesses interact with their consultants. We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Head of Billing and Debt, responsible for defining and implementing billing and debt strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Senior Advisors and Debt Team Leaders in developing and implementing billing and debt strategies
  • Manage offshore partners and Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs) to ensure effective debt recovery
  • Design and refine operational process frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement action plans to drive improvement in operational KPIs
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and solutions to enhance billing and debt management
  • Identify demand drivers and work with Business Improvement to remove waste and improve processes
  • Manage complaints and implement corrective action plans to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership position, with a strong track record of success in the utility industry
  • Experience in debt management with a commercial focus, including experience working with B2B and B2C customer bases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and lead in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
  • Experience of driving change initiatives in a service-based environment, with a focus on improving processes and reducing waste
