About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Education Support Professional to join our team at Booker Park School in Aylesbury. As a Senior Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Job Description

This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working with children and young people who have special educational needs. You will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement agreed work programmes and assist with the development of individual education plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans and personal care programmes
  • Support students with complex needs, including those with autism and learning difficulties
  • Work closely with teaching and senior staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £22,467 - £24,491 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Booker Park School is a member of the Vale Federation of Special Schools, which includes Stocklake Park Secondary School and Post-16 Centre. Our school caters for primary-aged children with a broad range of complex needs, including profound and multiple, severe and moderate learning difficulties, and almost half of our students have an additional diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition.
