Job Overview

The role of Mechanical Project Manager is a key position within James Lewis Recruitment's client organization, overseeing projects from pre-construction design to handover.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a single project, working closely with a contracts manager and ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, mechanical building services installations, and equipment knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver projects from pre-construction through to final accounts and handover Manage teams across multiple projects or larger projects Ensure smooth programming, procurement, and health and safety processes Provide snag-free delivery and completed O&Ms as main point of contact Client liaison and handover with final accounts As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll need to demonstrate experience delivering large-scale projects with varied timelines and programmes.

Requirements

Prior experience in managing projects from concept to completion Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations Excellent team management and communication skills Proficiency in writing and handling programming, variation accounts, and financial management A good knowledge of electrical systems and how they interact with mechanical installations

Benefits
