About the Role

At Tesco, we're committed to making a positive impact on our customers' lives. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services and supporting our pharmacy team.

As a leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers and colleagues. You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services
  • Provide healthcare advice to customers and support the pharmacy team
  • Play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items

What We're Looking For

  • A Pharmacy Degree
  • Passion for leading and empowering a team
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • Completion of a DBS check
