Python Data Engineer - Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer to join our team at Joseph Harry. As a Python Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Python and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Python and PySpark
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems
  • Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes
  • Work with Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Python and PySpark
  • Excellent data engineering skills
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Iceberg
  • Airflow or Dagster
  • Dremio or DBT
  • Java
