Job Opportunity at Referment

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer to join our team in London.

As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data platforms and pipelines that support our trading strategies and investment decisions.

With a strong background in Python and experience working in the financial sector, you will partner closely with our Portfolio Managers to build scalable and efficient data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines using Python and relevant tools
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Developing and maintaining data platforms and tools to support trading strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 2+ years of programming experience, preferably with Python
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a leading university
  • Experience working in FinTech or financial markets and handling financial data
  • Desirable skills include experience with Kafka, Octopus Deploy, and/or AWS
