About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician/Team Leader to join our Estates Engineering Maintenance Services team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of maintenance programmes that contribute to the Trust's objectives.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Estates Officers in the delivery of maintenance programmes
  • Coordinating and managing technical systems and processes across the Trust
  • Ensuring compliance with Trust standard operating procedures, policies, and legislation
  • Developing and implementing working strategies and processes
  • Implementing and signing off management documentation
  • Managing asset maintenance and technical support for the maintenance, routine planned, and reactive maintenance tasks across all trades
  • Completing data entry into paper and electronic systems
  • Participating in the management 'On call' rota

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HNC / Level 4 Apprenticeship Diploma or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Recognised computer skills training for Spreadsheets/databases or ability to demonstrate effective use of programmes
  • Able to plan, organise, and manage own work activities
  • Able to accurately interpret information relating to H&S, legislation
