Senior Finance Manager Job Description

Gleeson Recruitment Group is pleased to be partnering with a client in Birmingham to find a Senior Finance Manager. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. You will work closely with key stakeholders, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the FP&A function, ensuring accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Provide strategic financial support to senior leadership and department heads
  • Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Analyse financial data and identify trends to support business growth
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to the executive team
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Significant experience in FP&A, with strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Degree in accountancy, economics, business or related field
