Senior Finance Manager - Pensions

We are seeking an ambitious qualified accountant to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager - Pensions. This role is ideal for someone wanting to be part of a Multi Academy Trust, where the over-arching focus is to deliver the best outcomes and experiences for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead the Management Accounting team in the preparation, control and reporting of all management accounting responsibilities for the Trust and School Hub.
  • Develop and implement effective financial management systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior leaders and managers across the Trust.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Chief Finance Officer to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Trust's overall vision and goals.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the education sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
