Job Description:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join the Kid's Love Nature team as a Level 3 Apprentice.

Kid's Love Nature has developed its own curriculum and approach to create synergy between indoor and outdoor learning. They believe emotional wellbeing and resilience are key to children leading happy, successful, and purposeful lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Treat each child as a unique individual.
  • Support new children in settling into the environment as appropriate.
  • Carry out observation, assessment, and planning for own key children and all children in the nursery.
  • Plan and present activities to children based on their interests and developmental needs.
  • Support children to find and engage in constructive activity.
  • Change nappies and clothing as needed, and assist with toilet learning as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the completion of records such as accident, incident, and medical forms.
  • Discuss any concerns about a child's welfare or development with the nursery management.

As the role of an Early Years Apprentice, you will be required to meet and achieve the below expectations:

  • Develop and maintain the Considered Space.
  • Support and nurture the Considered Child.
  • Become a considered adult within and part of the prepared environment.
  • Attend training in line with your Apprenticeship training.
  • Meet the statutory requirements and the expectations of the Company as laid out in the relevant documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player, confident, and outgoing, and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks. You must also be imaginative, creative, and committed to a career within Childcare.

Requirements:

  • A level 2 in Childcare is desired but not essential.
  • You will have GCSE Grades A*-C in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS.

Hours:

  • Working hours will be approximately 36 hours per week with shifts patterns to be discussed.
