Role Overview

This is a Maintenance Engineer role within our Lincoln-based team, working in the manufacturing sector. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize production losses
  • Implement repairs and upgrades as needed to maintain peak performance
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements

  • Mechanical training and aptitude for problem-solving
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems advantageous
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship)
