Job Description

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance activities, acting as a vital communication link between production and maintenance teams.

You will oversee maintenance and reliability programs, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial screening of incoming work orders to identify scope and necessary planning level.
  • Conduct field walks to assess job requirements and identify safety hazards.
  • Estimate required hours and skills for work order tasks, planning jobs with appropriate detail for skilled trades.
  • Procure specialized equipment and tools needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain current bills of materials and accurately measure maintenance backlogs.
  • Ensure timely closing of work orders and maintenance log items.
  • Participate in outage planning activities, including scope identification and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with Reliability Department personnel on improvement projects.
  • Compile and deliver reports from the CMMS on work execution management.
  • Serve as liaison between operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors.

Key Requirements
