Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Communications Manager to lead our efforts in engaging with citizens, stakeholders, and external partners.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices in Merthyr, Carmarthen, or Llandudno Junction, working from a blend of locations, including some time at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective communication strategies that engage citizens and stakeholders.
  • To lead on stakeholder engagement and public affairs, ensuring CSSIW's views and opinions are represented effectively.
  • To manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media, politicians, and other external partners.
  • To develop and deliver engaging content across various channels, including social media, press releases, and marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in communications, marketing, or public relations.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Welsh care sector and its key issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
