Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance repairs to Housing Executive homes are carried out to exacting standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct regular property inspections to authorise maintenance work and ensure quality standards are met.
- Advise tenants on maintenance policies and their responsibilities for maintaining their homes.
- Liaise with contractors and other Housing Executive staff to ensure effective maintenance delivery.
- Draw attention to any deficiencies in the maintenance service and recommend remedial action.
- A degree in Building Studies or equivalent, or a BTEC Higher Diploma in Building Studies with relevant experience.
- A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in maintenance or a related field.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis and will have the opportunity to work on a temporary contract basis with the potential for permanent employment in the future.
