Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This is a temporary position initially for 3 months, based in Newtownabbey, with a pay rate of £12.38 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and carry out repairs, maintenance, improvement works, and inspections to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of working areas.
- Communicate with Housing Executive customers and partners, authorising payments for works, meeting with clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Investigate queries from Regional services teams when required.
Requirements:
- Degree in a construction-related subject plus 1 year of experience in the construction/maintenance industry.
- Candidates without a degree but with 3 years of experience in the construction/maintenance industry will also be considered.
- Willingness to undergo an Access NI police check.
