About the Role:

Connex Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a number of mainstream primary schools in the Redcar area. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience of supporting pupils in a primary environment. The role involves assisting teachers and supporting pupils in the classroom, with a focus on EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom and assisting with lesson planning
  • Working with small groups of pupils to support their learning and development
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
