We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Team Lead to join our Adult Inpatient Acute Service in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the delivery of exceptional mental health care.

The successful candidate will have experience in adult inpatient mental health services and be able to provide high-quality medical and psychiatric care to patients. They will also be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

In this role, the Medical Team Lead will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. They will also have opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality medical and psychiatric care to patients in the Adult Inpatient Acute Service
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to have an MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full GMC registration, as well as relevant experience in adult inpatient mental health services. Strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
