Job Title: HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at VLT Logistics.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our modern vehicle fleet, working closely with the Transport Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair VLT Logistics HGVs to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Enhance the performance of our vehicle fleet through regular maintenance and upgrades
  • Work closely with the Transport Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics operations
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
