Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at VLT Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our modern vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex faults on HGVs and VLTs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working order
  • Enhance vehicle performance through optimization and upgrade of systems
  • Collaborate with the Transport Manager to develop and implement fleet maintenance strategies
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of HGV and VLT systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
