Senior Internal Auditor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in London, UK. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal audits to provide independent assurance and advice to improve our control environment and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality audit work on time and in accordance with our internal audit methodology.
  • Work independently with support and guidance from the Audit Manager or Lead Auditor.
  • Lead audit assignments, coordinating teams of auditors and co-sourced resources to complete audits in accordance with the audit planning memorandum.
  • Perform detailed planning, including risk assessments for business areas or processes under review.
  • Communicate with auditee management throughout the audit to keep them informed of progress and agree findings and management action plans.
  • Assist the Audit Manager in drafting the audit report.
  • Participate in update and closing meetings with management.
  • Carry out quarterly follow-up of previous recommendations and prepare summary progress updates.
Requirements:
  • Professionally-qualified accountant or auditor from a top 10 firm or with relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in risk-based auditing and risk management.
  • Experience of auditing in the technology, media, or telecoms sectors is considered a plus.
