Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring timely and accurate payment to clients and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue monthly client applications for payment, ensuring compliance with contracts and timely certification.
- Identify, price, and agree changes with clients, ensuring accurate and transparent cost management.
- Administer contracts, working closely with the commercial team to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Report monthly on cost/value reconciliation, providing insights to improve project profitability.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients, ensuring fair and transparent settlements.
- Support the project manager in preparing and presenting monthly contract reviews to senior management.
- Manage payment and commercial aspects of suppliers/sub-contractors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Provide commercial support and advice to the project team, identifying areas to improve margin and project profitability.
- Participate in project meetings, producing progress reports and contributing to project decision-making.
- Support the bid team in responding to ITT requests, ensuring commercial and contractual compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
