Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a skilled Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to join their team in Reading and Oxford. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment meets Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit client sites to inspect and maintain crane and lifting equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Work with the team to identify and address any issues related to equipment performance
Requirements:
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering
  • Significant experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions on equipment condition and future use
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence customers
