About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Essex. As a key member of the Community Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered assessment and care to individuals with learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to service development and improve outcomes for service users through evidence-based practice and effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Travel across Mid and West Essex to provide therapy services in various settings, including homes and day centers, while ensuring timely and efficient caseload management.

This role offers exciting opportunities for professional growth, regular supervision, training, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We seek an individual with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, State registration with HCPC, and experience managing a caseload.

Person SpecificationQualifications and Experience
  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or relevant field.
  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Detailed knowledge of speech and language therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD).

The estimated salary range for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per year, dependent on location and experience.
