Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Research Nurse to join our dynamic research delivery team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our research portfolio and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients on clinical trials, working closely with the research and clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support trials from set-up to close, including recruitment, education, and monitoring of research participants.
  • Collect and document accurate data, maintaining comprehensive records of research studies.
  • Work closely with principal investigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the well-being of patients and adherence to ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain excellent clinical skills, with a focus on supporting complex research studies and using the study intensity tool to manage workload.
