Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Research Nurse to join our dynamic research delivery team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our research portfolio and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support trials from set up to close, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Assess and manage patient care pathways, providing expert guidance and education to patients and carers.
  • Recruit, educate, and monitor research participants, collecting and documenting accurate data.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective research delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of research data, adhering to ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Requirements
  • NMC registration and revalidation requirements.
  • Evidence of degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable post-registration clinical experience, with a focus on clinical research.
  • Current GCP training and experience in managing complex or commercial trials.
