Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our UK Infrastructure team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for administering contracts, providing accurate project cost monitoring and forecasting, and collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
  • Manage contract change effectively and ensure projects remain within governance.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contract Management experience, preferably with NEC3, Option C.
  • Cost Management and Change Management skills.
  • Valuation and Risk Management experience.
  • Procurement and Estimating skills.
  • Reporting and Collaborative approach.
  • People management and Commission management skills.
  • Identifying and driving efficiencies and improvements.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
  • Professional body membership or equivalent.
