Autism Support Specialist

Scottish Autism is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh & Lothian Area Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support to autistic individuals in a variety of service models, including ARC, Outreach, Housing Support, and Adult Residential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service, promoting the values of Collaboration, Compassion, Change Makers, and Contribution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in autism support.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in social care, preferably with autistic individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
