Job Title: Cyber Security Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Team Leader to join our Personal Injury Technical Claims team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced handlers in managing and settling higher value, complex injury claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the handling of complex, higher value personal injury claims
- Conduct detailed reviews of the claims managed by the team to ensure technical accuracy, assess performance and identify/address training needs
- Be a technical referral point for claims within the Technical Team as well as those which may have the potential to be housed there, providing expert guidance and advice as required
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to enhance the performance and consistency of the handlers within the Technical Team
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and develop action plans to address any areas of improvement
- Liaise with other teams within Personal Injury and across Claims more widely to facilitate the efficient operation of the team
- Contribute to the leadership and strategic planning of the Personal Injury Department as appropriate
- Manage supplier relationships effectively and identify potential new partnerships which can add value to the performance of the Technical Team
Requirements:
- Significant experience of handling complex personal injury claims as well as an extensive knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework within which these claims are handled
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
