Engine Performance Technician

We are looking for a skilled Internal Combustion Engine Specialist to join our team at Perpetual Engineering Partnerships Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and delivering engine testing programs.
Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a range of engine types. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, from durability testing to research on prototype hardware.
Key Accountabilities- Execute customer test requirements and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Validate engine running and associated systems in a test cell environment
- Operate test cells using both automated and manual methods
- Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and customers to ensure technical requirements are met
- Experience in automotive and/or testing environments
- Formal automotive qualification or apprenticeship preferred
- Strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engine fundamentals
- Proven diagnostic skills and systematic approach to fault finding
