Job Summary: As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a range of heavy goods vehicles, including trucks and trailers. You will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to diagnose and repair defects, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair defects on HGV equipment, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs, including daily inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Label and store parts correctly, including warranty and exchange units.

Requirements:
  • Motor Mechanics – LGV qualification.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics.
  • Forklift certification (desirable).
  • Operational vehicle/logistical experience.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance is essential.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
