Commercial Insights Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Insights Specialist to join our Financial Services team at M&S.
Focusing on Campaign Performance and Insights, you will deliver analysis that enables the business to better understand customer behaviors by segment, channel, and proposition, allowing us to understand how product use drives spend and engagement.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver marketing campaign performance analysis and insights to support new design and continuous improvement of M&S Financial Services' customer propositions, customer experience journeys, and customer communications.
- Work closely with FS Marketing and Commercial roles to fully understand requirements and provide collaborative solutions based on a commercial and analytical understanding.
- Deliver deep dive analysis of historic campaign performance to identify strengths and improvement opportunities, providing analytical support to campaign strategy development, objectives, budget, and ROI.
- Support customer segmentation by offer and channel, A/B testing, and control cells.
- Forecast campaign performance and analyze campaign performance post-launch, creating actionable insights.
Requirements
- A passion for Digital & Data, excited about its untapped potential.
- The ability to take a broad view of the business and identify relevant information for decision-making.
- Strong storytelling capabilities, translating data into visual and spoken media.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to flex style depending on the environment.
- Proficiency in MS Power BI, Excel, with experience and training in using simple statistical and data science techniques, such as forecasting, regression, clustering, SQL, R, Python, or other experience required.
