About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our New Struan School residential team as Autism Practitioners. As an Autism Practitioner, you will work closely with our team to provide specialist support to young people with autism, promoting their independence, active citizenship, and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Build positive relationships with supported individuals, their families, and health professionals
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the individual's life goals and aspirations are at the forefront of their support
  • Enable supported individuals to participate in activities of their choice, maintain their tenancies, and make decisions that matter to them

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who share our values of collaboration, compassion, and change-making. While experience in social care is desirable, we are willing to support individuals who are willing to learn and develop into the role.
