About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Professional to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end small-scale projects and programmes, contributing to commercial benefit, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with an integrated team to deliver small-scale projects and programmes, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
  • Support complex and large-scale projects with regional impact, coordinating through delivery of execution, analysis, recommendation, and implementation.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and project changes, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
  • Support the development, documentation, and implementation of projects and change initiatives in line with BT Group policies and strategies.
  • Support timely reporting on project performance and provide all information needed to enable well-informed decision making.
  • Review, suggest, and execute process improvements and efficiencies with the engagement and delivery models.
  • Support the definition, documentation, and execution of small projects or sub-projects, agreeing and reviewing project approach, engagement, and communications plans.
  • Support in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Project/Programme Management and PMO.
  • Facilitate effective working relationships between team members, and develop business/customer and partner relationships.
  • Proactively identify and manage risk through regular assessment and diligent execution of controls and mitigations.

  • Developed a network of strong working relationships you can call upon to support you
  • Handled office politics/disagreements whilst maintaining personal integrity
  • Ability to deliver results even if scope was unclear
  • Used knowledge to negotiate or persuade
  • Tackled process/political obstacles to delivery
  • Experience using and preferably accreditation in a Project Methodology (Agile/Prince/APM etc)
  • Ability to work across matrixed teams
  • Some knowledge and experience of business operations, business strategy, financial and operational strategic analysis
  • Knowledge and or experience of BT Products Portfolio and BT's Concept to Market Processes
  • Continuous improvement and business improvement experience
