Job Title: Bus Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
Shorterm Group is currently representing a client seeking a skilled Bus Maintenance Technician to join their busy depot on a full-time employed basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and modifications of vehicles.
* Perform diagnostic analysis to identify issues and recommend solutions.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive workshop environment.
* Ensure accurate fault diagnosis to guarantee proper part replacement.
* Respond professionally to customer inquiries and complete job cards and service sheets promptly.

Requirements:
* A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and focused approach to tasks.
* Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness, with experience working in a fast-paced workshop environment.
* Possession of a PSV/Bus license is preferred, with knowledge of related compliance.

Working Hours:
Rotating shift pattern: Earlies (6am-2pm) and Lates (2pm-10pm).

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
