Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk Assurance Consultant to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) team, you will play a critical role in managing our client portfolio and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assignment Delivery: Control and manage the delivery of assignments, including Internal Audit support, External Audit support, and IT Advisory, to ensure that work is completed to time and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead TRA teams and individuals to ensure effective delivery of TRA services.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage agreed client portfolios for regional areas.
  • Cyber Security Assignments: Perform complex Cyber Security TRA assignments.
  • Client Representation: Represent the Firm in TRA matters, including attendance at client meetings and audit committees.
  • Business Development: Draft proposals or assist in preparing tenders and presenting them as part of business development.
  • Client Relationships: Build relationships with clients and identify/act upon potential additional work opportunities.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience within IT Audit and/or Cyber Risk Management.
  • Expertise: Demonstrates expertise in a specialist field, such as Cyber Risk Strategy.
  • Technical Skills: Effective use of IT, including Excel, audit, and accounts packages, and Outlook.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent technical knowledge of the internal audit process and relevant sector issues.
  • Travel Requirements: Driving license (clean) and access to a car are essential for national travel.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in a relevant subject, such as information systems.
  • SOX Experience: Relevant SOX experience.
  • Workload Management: Takes responsibility for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Confident and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Willing to travel nationally and stay away from home when required.
  • Time Management: Able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively while being flexible.
  • Knowledge Development: Considers development of specialist areas of knowledge.
  • Autonomy: Able to work autonomously/pro-actively.
