Operations Security Manager

Achilleus Security & Stewarding ® is a leading provider of security and stewarding services at high-profile events, stadiums, and venues across the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in London and the surrounding areas.
Job Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our security and stewarding teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of events and services. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the activities of our security and stewarding teams, ensuring that all events and services are delivered to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of our services.
- Collaborate with our events team to ensure that all events are well-planned and executed.
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure that our operations are financially sustainable.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
- Ensure that all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their roles.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a security or operations management role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and managing budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Valid UK driving license and current SIA Door Supervisor license.
- NEBOSH, IOSH certification is a benefit but not essential.
