**Company Overview:** A leading client in the Property Damage Restoration sector requires a Trainee Restoration Technician to cover business growth. This role entails working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, covering London and the South of the UK. It is crucial to possess a full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points on the licence) and own transport to be eligible for the position.

**Estimated Salary:** £28,800 - £30,400 per annum based on location and industry standards.

**Job Description: Restoration Technician Role** As a Restoration Technician, your primary responsibilities will involve restoring commercial and residential properties following damage caused by fire or flooding. Key tasks include:
  1. Removing damaged fixtures and fittings from properties.
  2. Setting up equipment for drying out processes to enable property restoration.
  3. Submitting project reports and updates to the company's claims management system.
  4. Participating in team meetings.
Frequent travel across London and the South of the UK is required, often involving overnight stays in fully expensed accommodation with a meal allowance.

**Essential Requirements:** Applicants must have prior experience in similar damage restoration or construction labouring roles, working extensively with building materials. Manual dexterity, PC literacy, excellent communication skills, empathy, and customer service skills are also necessary. Additionally, the ability to frequently work away from home, sometimes at short notice, is vital.
